🚀 What’s new?
Eshopbox uses weight slabs to calculate shipping charges (for example,
0–500 g, 500 g–1 kg
, and so on). Earlier, even a small increase beyond a slab—such as an order weighing
510 g
—would be charged under the
next higher slab (1 kg)
.
To address this, Eshopbox has introduced a
minor weight variance buffer.
If the weight crosses a slab boundary by
up to 60 grams
, the slab change will be
waived off
, and you will be charged using the
lower slab
.
🧪 Example
  • Weight slab:
    0–500 g
  • Actual shipment weight:
    510 g
  • Difference:
    +10 g
    (within the 60 g buffer)
👉
Charged slab: 0–500 g (lower slab)
If the shipment weight exceeds the slab limit by
more than 60 g
(for example,
570 g
), the order will be charged under the
next slab (1 kg)
.
🎯 Benefits
  • 💰 Reduced shipping cost impact:
Minor weight variations no longer push orders into a higher charging slab.
  • ⚖️ Fairer billing:
Charges now better reflect realistic weight differences caused by packaging or scale variance.
  • 📦 Fewer billing disputes:
Reduces cases where small weight differences lead to unexpected higher charges.
  • 👌 Better predictability:
You get more consistent and predictable shipping costs.
When a delivery fails, the shipment is returned to the origin. With this new feature, Eshopbox enables you to define where your Return to Origin (RTO) shipments should be delivered. You can now configure an RTO delivery address based on your operational needs.
✅ Benefits
  • 🧭 Custom return routing:
Decide whether all returns go to a central location or the originating fulfillment center.
  • 🔀 Operational flexibility:
Adapt RTO routing based on your regional or centralized return strategies.
  • 💰 Cost control:
Optimize return freight costs by configuring the nearest appropriate RTO address.
  • 🤖 Fewer manual interventions:
Reduce dependency on support for changing return behaviour repeatedly.
Eshopbox has optimized the performance of its Shipping App integration, which is used by you for processing orders across multiple OMS platforms and requesting Eshopbox shipping labels.
The average time to generate a shipping label has now been significantly reduced:
P99 Label Generation Time:
4 seconds (Shipping labels for 99% of shipments now generate within 4 seconds or less)
Earlier: 10 seconds
🎯 Benefits
  • Faster processing:
Shipping labels are generated more than 2× faster, reducing wait time for you.
  • 📈
    Improved operational efficiency:
Quicker label generation helps streamline order processing across all integrated OMS systems.
  • 👌
    Better user experience:
You get instant feedback and can complete shipments without delays.
🚀 What’s new?
Eshopbox now shows key delivery information upfront on the All Orders page:
  • Estimated Delivery Date (EDD)
is now visible directly for each order
  • Delivery incidents
(if any) are also displayed upfront, without needing to open the order details
🎯 Benefits
  • 👀 Faster visibility:
Quickly understand delivery timelines and exceptions at a glance.
  • ⚡ Quicker action:
Identify delayed or incident-impacted orders immediately and take timely action.
  • 📊 Better monitoring:
Easily track on-time vs delayed orders without navigating into individual orders.
As part of the Shopify → Eshopbox catalog sync, product titles in Eshopbox now include variant information wherever applicable ✅
What’s new
When products are fetched from Shopify, Eshopbox will append variant attributes (such as size, color, etc.) to the base product title so each variant is clearly identifiable.
Example title format:
Women Full Sleeve Dress Black Acrylic S
In this format, the title combines the base product name with its variant attributes (such as color, material, and size), making each variant easy to identify at a glance.
Why this matters
This update improves:
  • Catalog clarity (easy to differentiate variants)
  • Inventory visibility (fewer mix-ups across similar SKUs)
How it works
During Shopify sync, we:
  • Fetch variant options from Shopify (option1, option2, option3)
  • Generate variant-specific names by combining: Base title + Variant values
  • Store the combined title for each variant in Eshopbox
  • Apply this only when variant values exist, ensuring backward compatibility with existing product sync behavior

Shopify SKUs containing a forward slash (/) are now fully supported on Eshopbox
What’s new
You can now:
  • Successfully sync products from Shopify even if the SKU contains (/)
  • Create products manually in the Eshopbox workspace with (/) in the SKU
  • Map SKUs without errors during catalog setup
  • Create and import orders containing SKUs with (/) without any validation or processing issues
What this means for you
Earlier, SKUs with (/) (for example, ABC/123) failed validation, which caused catalog sync issues and blocked product and order workflows. With this update:
  • Catalog syncs are more reliable
  • Order creation and imports work seamlessly
  • Manual workarounds are no longer required
Why this matters
Many brands use (/) as part of their standard SKU format. Supporting this ensures smoother onboarding, fewer failures across product and order flows, and better alignment with real-world SKU conventions.
🚀 What’s new?
HSN codes are now displayed directly on the shipping label.
❓ Why this is important
  • Helps ensure
    regulatory and compliance readiness
  • Reduces issues during
    transit checks and audits
  • Ensures smoother movement of goods across regions
🛠️ How can you update the HSN code?
  • If you use Eshopbox to process orders: Update the product catalog directly in the Eshopbox workspace.
  • If you use Eshopbox as a shipping app and process orders via another OMS: You can update the product catalog in either your OMS or the Eshopbox workspace — both will work.
🚀 What’s new?
Eshopbox now
displays the courier partner name
for every shipment — both forward and return.
Earlier, this information was not visible on the workspace, making it difficult to identify which courier was assigned to an order or weight discrepancy.
You will now see the courier partner name clearly on:
  • All orders
  • ̇Weight discrepancies
🎯 Benefits
  • 🔎 Better visibility:
Quickly identify which courier is handling the shipment without checking external systems.
  • 📈 Improved operational clarity:
You get complete shipment context directly on the workspace.
🚀 What’s new?
Eshopbox now displays both the
dead weight you provided
and the
dead weight reported by the courier
directly on the weight discrepancy detail page along with the
items in the shipment.
Previously, this information was not visible making it harder to compare and verify discrepancies.
🎯 Benefits
  • 📌 Better clarity:
You can now easily compare your submitted weight with the courier-reported weight in one place.
  • 🔍 Faster investigation
: All relevant weight details and shipment items are available on a single screen, reducing back-and-forth checks.
  • ✔️ Improved decision-making:
Enhanced visibility helps you validate discrepancies more accurately and take the right action.
