Requirement Statement:

For any consignment marked as damaged, wrong product, or otherwise rejected, the generation and submission of a Warehouse Dispatch List (WDL) should not be mandatory.

Applicable Scenarios:

Items received in damaged condition

Incorrect or mismatched products delivered

Any other instances leading to consignment rejection at the time of inwarding or quality check

System Impact:

The system should allow such consignments to be marked as complete without requiring WDL upload.

Exception logging should still capture the rejection reason for traceability and reporting.

Objective:

To streamline the return/rejection process for unsellable goods and eliminate unnecessary documentation in such cases.
