Introducing Return Processing Turn Around Time (TAT)
under review
Mukul Yadav
Currently, returns received at the Fulfilment Centre (FC) do not have a defined TAT for processing. This means there is no clear information regarding the expected completion time for processing these returns.
However, in the case of marketplace returns (such as Amazon, Flipkart, etc.), there is a specific timeframe within which claims for QC-rejected items need to be raised from when the return is delivered to the FC. Without a defined TAT, it becomes challenging to track return processing performance effectively.
To address this issue, we are implementing a new system where each return shipment will have an associated TAT. The TAT may vary depending on the marketplace. Having a defined TAT will enable us to track and process returns within the specified timeframe, thereby improving return processing performance. Additionally, it will allow us to raise claims for QC-rejected items in a timely manner.
