Currently when Brand enter the B2B Order and upload the file. The file has the Stop Ship Date to which system does an exact date match and pick the qty for that particular Order . Brand (Skin Story) would like to change that to referring to Expiry Date ….
This is the Logic as per Skin Story team
STOP SHIP DATE : 180 days less than the Expiry Date - This is the date that we dont want to dispatch any product be it B2B or B2C …… These products and Qty’s will be recalled and destroyed by us.
Logic in your system should be no qty allocated to orders which are equal or greater than STOP SHIP DATE B2B and D2C
Expiry Date : Date when the Product Expires
For B2B we have to send products with at least 24 month Expiry
So for this - In your system when we upload the product and Qty, system should automatically Look at Current Date and Expiry Date of the product and if the diff between them is 25 Months should allocate the Qty.

Our system currently allows batch tracking in two ways: By manufacturing date, or By expiry date.
The Stop Ship Date logic was designed to work seamlessly with both types of tracking.
However, your requirement is specifically tied to expiry dates and does not cover products tracked by manufacturing date.
Planned Enhancement
We are already working on introducing an additional option to support expiry date–based logic for product allocation.
If a product is not batch-tracked, or tracked using attributes other than manufacturing/expiry date, it will follow the default FIFO allocation logic.
Once this enhancement is live, it will address your requirement for both B2B and D2C orders.
We expect to have more clarity on the ETA by September 22nd and post updates here.
