Currently, fulfilment center associates can mark a consignment complete when GRN & quality check of all the items in the particular consignment is completed, but even if putaway is still pending for the items. This leads to the following issues:
a. Even if the consignment is shown completed to the client, the inventory might still not updated on sales channel (If putaway is still pending).
b. Warehouse user sometime miss it to manually mark the consignment as completed, even if the entire process was completed.
To address these issues, we are planning the following improvements:
  1. The consignment will be automatically marked as completed, once the below steps are completed:
a. GRN and QC is completed for all the boxes in the consignment.
b. Putaway is completed for all the sellable (QC accepted) items in the consignment.
c. All products in the consignment have its weight and dimension verified (Only applicable for Eshopbox fulfilment)
  1. Warehouse user will be able to see the pendency reason for the pending consignments. This reasons can be: GRN pending, Putaway pending, Weight verification pending, as applicable.
